The Kids’ Cancer Project (TKCP) has teamed up with Vapiano Australia to raise money and awareness for Aussie kids battling cancer.

Tonight,  Wednesday 9 August, Vapiano Gold Coast will donate 10% of all transactions between 6- 8pm to fund new research that aims to discover new treatments and a cure for childhood cancer thanks to The Kids Cancer Project.

Vapiano has a proud history of supporting the local community and was one of the first businesses in Surfers Paradise to lend a hand to raise money when TKCP founder, Col Reynolds OAM, announced he would bring National Science Tour to the Gold Coast.

Col couldn’t be more delighted. “The purpose of our road-trip, which will take us down the east coast, is to tell everyone that science is the solution to finding better treatments and a cure for childhood cancer,” he said. “It’s horrifying to know that cancer kills more Aussie kids than any other disease. It’s vital we get the message out there so more people support the science that will save our kids,” Col said.

Vapiano encourages everyone to join together and support The Kids Cancer Project’s incredible commitment to transforming the lives of kids with cancer. On the night, keep an eye out for Vapiano staff donning TKCP shirts, bright donation boxes, and the vivid yellow bus complete with banners in Cavill Avenue.

Follow the TKCP national tour at and sign the pledge to show kids with cancer they’re not alone. The Kids’ Cancer Project is a national, independent charity committed to funding cutting-edge science to find better treatments and ultimately a cure for childhood cancer. With more than $34 million invested, the team remains 100% committed to helping the 950 new kids diagnosed every year.
